CST has been manufacturing and commissioning belt weighers in Australia since 1984, and has developed a considerable body of knowledge about the application, design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, maintenance, overhaul and troubleshooting of belt weighing equipment. With this extensive knowledge and experience, we have built a number of training courses and a certification process to share our knowledge and raise the general level of competencies around belt weighing.
We feel that training is necessary as belt weighers are precision electro-mechanical systems and technicians or people with more knowledge and training can benefit and will help to get the best out of their equipment. By participating in CST training for accreditation, participants become a part of CST's wider technical community.
CST training is provided on site, or at one of our offices (Sydney, Mackay, Perth), to provide accreditation necessary for personnel to safely and competently maintain CST belt weighing equipment.
There are three levels of training and accreditation:
- Level 1 - Belt Weighing Certificate
- 2 days training - topics include:
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- Maintenance
- Troubleshooting
- Level 2 - Advanced Belt Weighing Certificate
- 5 days training - topics include:
- Advanced Electrical
- Advanced Mechanical
- Advanced Maintenance
- Advanced Troubleshooting
- Installation
- Level 3 - Certified Belt Weighing Engineer
- Exam based on field experience and training
CST are willing to build custom training based on specific requirements or needs and facilitate the training either on-site or at the closest CST office.
