Quarterly Maintenance Service

 

The 3 monthly agreement sets a fixed sum for work conducted on a weighing system covered under the agreement. Also, placing a weigher on the 3 monthly agreement guarantees an hourly rate for any work outside the agreement Acceptance of the 3 monthly agreement also represents an order for 12 months service on the subject belt weigher. Service work is invoiced progressively as the work is done.

 

Service scope:

  • Wash down weigh frame, inspect weigh frame and rollers and report

  • Check and Record set-up data, power supply voltages and load cells

  • Check Belt Length by means of secondary length reference

  • Check Calibration by application of weights, Linearity check only, record results

  • Provide a report showing status of the equipment and any calibration changes which may have occurred

  • Fault Rectification. If a fault is found, the equipment will be repaired at the rates in the agreement

Generally, a Quarterly Maintenance check will take about 4 hours to complete, but this time can vary considerably depending on type of weigher and local site conditions.  Price includes an additional 1 hour per weigher for the preparation of reports.

 

Excluded from Maintenance Agreement

 

Breakdown call outs are not covered under the maintenance agreement, however, the hourly rate is guaranteed at the agreed rate.

Idler Profile adjustment and replacement of idler rolls. Supply of parts would be the subject of a separate quote. Labour component would be charged at the agreed rates.

Repair or Replacement of failed weighing system components. Supply of parts would be the subject of a separate quote. Labour component would be charged at the agreed rates.

 

Elevated priority

 

Belt Weighers covered by CST service agreements have scheduling priority. CST will put breakdown service for weighers under agreement ahead of breakdown service for weighers not covered by an agreement.
