From one-off projects to repetitious manufacturing, CST‘s facilities, engineering capability, and tradespeople are ideally equipped for all types of steel fabrication.

Our workshop has been operating since 1984. Over decades of experience, we have developed close relationships with suppliers (sheet metal, coatings, etc) and we are able to provide effective solutions and complete product fabrication. We will supply to any industry. Our standard activity is the production of conveyor belt weighers. Other work has included conveyors, weigh feeders, sign supports, and structural steel for buildings.

Our in-house design engineering and drafting allows for close interaction during the design and development phases. We have the flexibility to alter designs and shop drawings and convey these changes directly to the factory floor.

Our facilities cover over 1300m2 of factory floor space, several welding bays, and machinery to enable all types of steel fabrication. All work is done in accordance with AS/NZS ISO9001 certified quality system. Our OH&S procedures ensure that we will work safely on your project. Our tradespeople are qualified boilermakers and fitters. High accuracy demands in making our standard product requires our tradespeople to work within small tolerances, and to weld to AS/NZS 1554 standard.
