Regular Preventative Maintenance

CST are equipped to provide regular preventative maintenance for belt weighers from our service offices around Australia. The service includes Annual, three monthly and call out visits which are arranged under a service agreement with preferential rates and scheduled availability that fits your own shut-down program.

Commissioning and Calibration

Commissioning and Calibration are very important steps in realising the true value of your belt weigher investment. There is a need for a high level of knowledge and commitment to high quality calibration methods.

CST are committed to doing a quality job and avoid the shortcuts which can rob the quality of the project. CST are able to provide estimates for work and can attend site at short notice from their nearest service office.

Installation Assistance

CST can help you plan the installation of your belt weighing equipment. The essential elements of a good installation include

  1. Conveyor engineering so that the location can be properly prepared to receive the new equipment
  2. A suitable mechanical contractor who is familiar with the site including contractual and OHS requirements
  3. An electrical contractor who can run cables and work in with the mechanical installation
  4. Most importantly, the presence of a CST service technician who can check that the installation is done to the standards necessary to achieve the required accuracy, as well as being available for commissioning and calibration.

Belt Weigher Overhaul and Upgrade

CST personnel will come to site, assess your needs, propose the necessary equipment and work to upgrade your belt weigher, including full replacement if necessary. CST personnel will then arrange to carry out the work to bring your equipment up to optimal working order.

  1. Assess equipment in the field and facilitate improving it to a true fit for purpose condition including replacement if necessary.

  2. Carry our uncertainty analysis for the site and determine the working uncertainty of each mass measurement on the plant or in the system.
